Jared Cox is a licensed Civil Engineer and leads Coaction’s Engineering and Development teams.

Jared has gained over 20 years of engineering & leadership experience since graduating from NAU in Civil Engineering in 1998.

Jared began his civil engineering career with ADOT in Flagstaff where he gained significant experience in traffic studies, he then moved to AMEC Infrastructure and contributed to multiple land development and municipal projects in the Phoenix area. He then co-founded HEC Engineering in 1999 and eight years later the company successfully merged with Atwell-Hicks out of Michigan, expanding their national presence.  Jared continued to work as a Sr. Project Manager with Atwell performing due diligence work on real estate development projects, conducting preliminary surveys and environmental work and producing engineering construction documents.

In 2013 Jared started Vista Design Group, a civil engineering and consulting firm. Vista provided general civil engineering services as well as landscape architecture, streetlight design & structural design for non-occupied facilities.

Jared worked alongside Coaction Group for nearly a decade on each project before bringing his expertise to Coaction as a full-time leader & advisor in early 2016.

What is something people don’t know about you?

I speak Spanish fluently and am proud member of a local Rotary Club where I serve on the board.  I am actively involved in church and regularly help with the Boy Scouts organization.

How do you enjoy spending your free time?

I enjoy camping and hiking.  I especially love boating with my family and going for a long run on weekends with my wife.
